- NetSmartz The NetSmartz Workshop® is an interactive, educational safety resource from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) and Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) for children aged 5 to 17, parents, guardians, educators, and law enforcement that uses age-appropriate, 3-D activities to teach children how to stay safer on the Internet.

- KidsClick is a web guide for kids. Lots of homework helpers and lots of fun places to explore.
- Yahooligans allows you to put in a subject (ex: bats) and get a list of sites on that subject.It has categories so you can explore an area (Weird & Mysterious, Sports and Recreation).
- Ask Jeeves for Kids You can ask a question to this directory of carefully picked sites.
- KidsReads.com This Web site has students book reviews, games, and trivia. Look for your favorite author!
- Google A great search engine for locating information, images, and much more!
- Answers.com Answers.com is a search engine that provides quick answers rather than lengthy entries to many questions.

Help with Your Homework
You can find lots of information on the web, but it usually takes longer to find what you want than it would to go to the library and look it up. It helps to:
- Know what questions you want to answer before you start.
- Have someone older who can help read the hard words.
- Have patience! You may have to go through lots of stuff you don't want.
- Go exploring before you try using the web for homework. Go looking for sites that talk about what you are learning in class.
- Kids on the Web: Homework Tools has links to online dictionaries, encyclopedias and other reference sources and links to lots of other homework helping sites, including some for parents.
- My Virtual Reference Desk has a link to children's authors info, lots of pages on math, science, and writing, an Ask the Experts section and more.
- PJ Pinchbeck's Homework Helper B.J. and his dad teamed up with the Discovery Channel web site and created a great homework source.
- Information Please Kids' Almanac On-line dictionary, encyclopedia and homework helper.
- National Geographic World On Line National Geographic's magazine for kids.
- Education 4 Kids has a good way to practice math facts. You can tell it how hard you want the problems.
- Saugus.net Computer Knowledgebase search or browse for any computer term, filename extension, or even learn about free legal software.
- TechEncyclopedia actually, more of a dictionary. Find out definitions of any computer term, concept or buzz word.
- Saugus.net Education has a collection of links to local educational resources as well as online dictionaries, encyclopedias, and book collections.

- Madlib-o-matic Create your own Madlibs, a group game that creates wacky funny stories.
- American Sign Language Learn words with animated pictures.

- NetVet and the Electronic Zoo set up by a veterinarian.

Rainforest Animal Research
- Animals of the Rainforest choose from amphibians, birds, fish, insects, mammals and reptiles for pictures and information.
- Tropical Rainforest Animals information and pictures of 14 animals.
