Library Hours

Library Day is Thursday 
 
Thursday morning hours are 8:50am to 11:00am.
(AM Kindergarten comes in right at 8:50)
 
Thursday afternoon hours are 12:25pm to 2:35pm.

The library is used by learning specialists (i.e. speech therapists) throughout the week. Students can only check out books on Thursday's.

The Birthday Book Club Program

The Lynnhurst School Library would like to invite your child to join the Birthday Book Club. It is a great way to show your friends and family your child is celebrating a birthday with giving this special gift to the Library and also so that others can enjoy one of your child's favorite books for many years to come.

Here is how it works
if you choose to participate:

  1. On the month your child is celebrating a birthday, a letter is sent home along with an order form.

  2. You send in to your child's teacher a check payable to the Lynnhurst Library for $12.00.

  3. Your child picks a book they would like to add to the Library in their name.

  4. We place a customized label inside the book with your child's name.

  5. Your child's picture is taken with the Birthday Book Club to be displayed in the Library and sent to the local newspapers.

This year we will have a variety of books we've selected for the children to choose from.
If they prefer, they can purchase a hardcover book themselves and just bring it in with the Birthday Book Club invitation.
