Children should not arrive before 8:30 a.m. when teachers are on duty to provide safety and protection on the school grounds. We can not be responsible for the well being of children on our playground before this time.
Saugus Public Schools provide vacation periods in December, February, and April. Massachusetts State Law requires that your child be in school. Vacations during the academic year can be detrimental to children's learning. This practice is discouraged. If you choose to vacation while school is in session, teachers should not be expected to provide work in advance or to assign make up work upon your return.
For security and safety all visitors must enter through the main entrance (near Office), sign in and wear a Visitor Pass. Parents delivering articles to their children (lunches, books, etc.) must leave them at the office.
