Needs Improvment is an improv troupe consisting of students from all grades in SHS. We hold auditions at the end of the school year and rehearse every Wednesday over the summer. Our first performance every year is the night of Founder's Day, and then every other Friday thru September and October. We also have holiday events such as "The Haunted Improv" or "A Very Merry Improv."
Improvisation is a type of on the spot acting. We have structures for games, we get suggestions from the audience, and then make up a scene right in front of you. It's fast paced and involves quick thinking from the cast. You can come to every show and never see the same thing twice!
Our next performance is scheduled for Friday, December 7. Take a break from your hectic holiday schedule and join Needs Improvment in their last show of the 2005 season. The show will be held in the SHS Auditorium @ 7:30. Tickets are $5 per person.
Needs Improvment held "A Laugh for Relief" this past October. We earned over $500 and every penny of it was donated to A Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund to help the victims of the hurricane. Thank you to everyone who came and supported us!
