All students entering the seventh grade should read three books from the above list.

Students are encouraged to take notes while reading. They should be familiar with the title and author, characters, setting, and plot of the books they have chosen. Evaluation of the summer reading will take place through the use of a writing assignment which will be administered during the first full week of school.
