Prerequisites: 70 average or better in Algebra 1 and Geometry and a 70 average or better in Chemistry 222 or a 90 average or better in Chemistry 221.

This course and laboratory component provides students with a working knowledge of the physical world. Students will use the most modern technology availableto develope concepts and improve problem-solving skills. This course can serve as an important component of college preparatory study. The learning strands are motion and foorces, conservation of energy and momentum, heat and heat transfer, waves, electtromagnetism anad electromagnetic radiation.
