Prerequisites: 80 average or better in Chemistry 223 or better in Chemistry 222 and 80 average or better in Algebra 1, Geometry H and Algebra 2 H. Open to students in Grades 11 or 12.

This rigorious first year course for students who require a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Phyics and may wish to elect AP Physics the following year. An ability to deal with the abstracts and reason mathematically is essential to success. Measurement, Unitary Analysis, Laws of Motion, Gravitation, Free-fall and Projectile Motion, Electricity and Optics are covered.
