
Our Girls track team will be participating in state invitational meets in order to improve our performances and give the student athletes an opportunity to compete against the best talent that the state has to offer. Here you will find all of the information needed to attend the invitationals. All track athletes should be aware of the dates of these meets.
January 6 (9:30 AM):
Auerbach Freshman-Sophomore Meet
This meet is open to all freshmen and sophomore athletes in the state of Massachusetts It is a great opportunity for the young athletes on the team to compete with athletes from their same age group. All events are offered, in addition to three relays (4 X 400, 4 X 200, 4 X 800)
January 20:
Division III State Relays
This meet is open to all track athletes who wish to run on a relay team that will compete against every Division III schools. There are many relays that are offered at this meet that are not offered anywhere else in the state of Massachusetts.
High Jump Relay (3 high jumpers combine their jumps)
Shot-put Relays (3 Shot-putters combine their throws)
Shuttle Hurdle Relay (4 hurdlers hand off batons approaching each other)
Shuttle Relay (4 sprinters hand off batons approaching each other)
4 X 200 meters
4 X 400 meters
4 X 800 meters
Sprint Medley Relay (200M, 200M, 400M, 800M)
Distance Medley Relay( 400M, 800M, 1200M,1600M)
January 27:
McIntyre Elite Relays
This meet is open to all relay teams that placed sixth or better at their divisional meets.
February 2:
Coaches' Invitational
This meet is open to all track athletes that have met a qualifying time that is listed on the MSTCA website. This is a great meet for athletes that are close to qualifying for states or want to improve their speed time for states.
February 3:
Coaches' Elite Meet
This meet is open to all track athletes that have signed up for the Coaches' Invitational that are seeded in the top 24 in the state.
February 16:
Division III State Championships
This meet is open to all track athletes that have ran, jumped, or thrown a qualifying mark in their event. This is the most important meet of the year for athletes who have qualified.
February 23:
All State Championships
This meet is open to the first six competitors in each event during the Division III State Championships.
