Hi and welcome to the site about endangered species. Currently, there are over 24,000 species that are endangered or threatened by human life. Unless we do something quickly, they will disappear forever. Without them, Earth's ecosystem may very well crumble. By endangering wildlife, we are putting ourselves endanger.

What is an Endangered Species?

An endangered species is a species whose population is so small that it is in danger of becoming extinct.
