1. If you live in an area that has tornadoes then you should develop a plan to be ready if a tornado strikes.
2. If there is a tornado warning, then you should hide under a sturdy table in your basement.
3. If you do not have a basement, then you should go to a small room on the first floor (bathroom or a closet) on the opposite side of the tornado and you should stay away from windows.
4. If you are in any type of vehicle, you should abandon your vehicle and hide in a ditch or under a low bridge.
5. If you are in a school ,church, or mall, then you should go into a restroom or storeroom or hide under a table or a counter.
6. If you are outside during a tornado, then you should try to find shelter in the nearest building or hide in a ditch.
7. You should keep a first aid kit in your house in case there is a tornado.
