- Oldest known dinosaur is the Euraptor (230 million years old)
- Some walk on two legs some walk on four legs.
- The largest dinosaurs were over 100 feet tall.
- Brachiosaurus was the largest dinosaur of them all.
- Compsognathus was the smallest Dinosaur which was a little bigger than a chicken.
- Herbivores were usually larger than carnivores.
- Dinosaurs got their name from either their appearance, where they were discovered, or the person that discovered the Dinosaur.
- Most animals ate plants but some Dinosaurs ate eggs, lizards, or other Dinosaurs.
- Some scientist believe they are warm-blooded and other scientist say there big bodies kept them warm.
- Paleontologist believe the color of Dinosaurs was for protection, like to reduce shadow or camouflage with the environment but there not positive what colors they really are.
- Their life span ranged from 10 year to 100 years.
- Dinosaurs were large to protect themselves from predators.
- They lived on every continent.
